  1. Editors and editorial boards will take responsive measures when ethical concerns are raised with regards to a submitted manuscript or published paper.
  2. All submitted manuscripts will undergo peer-review by at least two reviewers who are expert in the field. Peer-review assists editors in making editorial decisions towards improving the manuscripts.
  3. Authors should ensure that they have submitted original works. They are encouraged to use anti-plagiarism software such as Turnitin prior to submission. Plagiarism in all its forms constitutes unethical publishing behaviour is unacceptable.
  4. Authors should check their manuscripts for possible breaches of copyright law and secure the necessary permissions. Authors are fully responsible for any violation of copyright pertaining to their published research work. All manuscripts published in ESTEEM Academic Journal is under the copyright of UiTM Press.
  5. ESTEEM Academic Journal have the right to cancel and withdraw a published research work if there is evidence of scientific misconduct, fraudulent publication or plagiarism.
